Atheism Defeated Part 2 of 3
"I'm not concerned with the person who does such..." This seems utterly perplexing to me. It seems much more rational to disagree with a notion and to hate the person who carries it out than to hate an idea and not care a whit for the person who acts it out. I can't even imagine a worldview that rationally makes sense of this. (1 week ago)

"Really? You merely "disagree" with..." No, I don't hate those ideas. I would certainly hate people who acted upon them, and in some cases I would attempt to kill someone who did, but I'm not even sure what it would mean to hate those ideas. (1 week ago)

"You certainly produced no evidence" Yes, I did. I'm evidence. Your claim is: Atheists hate the idea of god, for which you produce no evidence. I counter: No, they do not as a rule. As evidence, I present myself, an atheist who does not hate the idea of god. Being part of the class of people you are making a claim about, I constitute evidence. The only counter you can give in return is to claim I am either lying or not an atheist, both of which you cannot support. (1 week ago)

"In case you try to suggest they do not hate God" Except that scripture is not an authority, and hence cannot refute claims about anything but itself. I myself am an atheist, and neither hate god nor hate the idea of god. As I constitute first-hand evidence, I am in a position to refute or confirm the claim. The bible is not. Even by your own personal definition (which you surely must realize is non-authoritative), the atheist does not necessarily hate god. (1 week ago)

"They hate the very idea of God." I find it genuinely hard to credit hatred of the "very idea" of something. I may disagree with an idea, but it seems unproductive to actually hate it. I'm surprised by how often accusations of hatred are leveled at a group who doesn't even believe the thing they supposedly hate. (1 week ago)

Playlists
From potholer54 comes one of the best educational series' available on YT. Watch it, enjoy it, and be sure to thank potholer54 for it.
Thunderf00t's epic-length series aimed at the claims of Creationists and Intelligent Design advocates. Humorous, blunt, and above all accurate, this is a series worth watching twice. Be sure to stop by Thunderf00t's channel to thank him and to subscribe.
Here they are, folks: the worst.

While my other science playlists attempt to get at the best of the debate, this one tries to expose the worst. It's all on display here: hokey science, non-sequiturs, arguments from ridicule, and just plain stupidity. Watch at your own risk.
