Hi. My name's Navita. I'm the Executive Director and Founder of the first cervical cancer organization in Tennessee, THE CERVICAL CANCER COALITION OF TENNESSEE (CCCT). I started CCCT to inform women about preventing and surviving cervical cancer; I'm an 8-year cervical cancer survivor. Now, I feel it's my calling to tell women about this terrible disease that can kill them if not detected in time. They don't have to die.

Also, I'm a writer and producer of "Vita," a talk show in Nashville (he Vita Show" (Access TV). My show features programs about women's health and other community issues. I've hosted many open-mic sessions in coffee houses and cultural events. Anywhere people want to hear poetry, I get things done.

I released a spokenword CD, A CELEBRATION OF LIFE, at www.cdbaby.com. Part of the proceeds benefit the coalition. At youtube I want to entertain and educate as many people as possible about the issues of today. Enjoy my videos!
