Woot! Yo Nes, thanks for posting the videos. It is really bringing back memories of 80's hip hop in Seattle. I remember much of it with the KCMU Rap Attack radio show. Each week my brother and I record it on cassettes. I still have a couple of those tapes left too.
Much props to the original Pinoy 316! |

I was just browsing through all of your videos. Wow, it sure was a blast from the past. I didn't move to Seattle until 1996 so I'm not familiar with your show from back then. I'm now back home in Los Angeles since 2004 and planning on moving back to Seattle in early to mid 2009...LOL Keep up the good work Nes! Peace!!!

You just made it on Eazy-E "Radio", almost too late haha. That was the first time I heard you, but all that 80/90 Nastymix always will be classic.

1 luv Nasty Nes ! When I was a youngsta in elementary, my older brother always had the dial on the "legendary" 1250 K-Fox ! When I was in high school I remember all the homies had to be tuned in on Sundays for the "always dope" KCMU Rap Attack ! Your impact on the N.W. hip-hop scene is undeniable and forever will be appreciated ! Not to hate on whats poppin here now, but it just aint the same like it was "back in the days". The dj's here (particularly KUBE) lack substance and credibility with a real 206er and "true hip-hop" head like myself. Go hard and keep bringin the heat to the masses Uce ! 1hunnid !

Well Nes this is Big Phil you definitely get it gator sir. Keep educating the masses the new and up coming dj's and rappers need to know the history so they can better carry on the culture. Get the money but don't sell the culture out in other words don't sell ya soul. You are dong great work out there cuzin keep teaching.

Nes like others, it brought back memories watching the ole clips from you and homie Shockmaster. As you know, I started my program, Music Inner City in December of 1990 and we are still on the air. I contacted you about starting MIC-TV with videos from NastyMix Records and as they say, the rest is history. The Seattle hip-hop/rap scene has not been the same since you left as far as promo tours etc. So I have to do a lot of phone interviews. Anyway thanks to you and Shockmaster and of course Mix for putting Seatown on the hip-hop/rap map. Music Inner City is a result of what you put down! Gordon Curvey
