Report cruelty to animals. (Cruelty to animals is when someone beats an animal or causes any injury, but also when an animal is exposed to extreme temperatures like in a car with the windows closed during the summer months, or chained outside during the winter time). Information for all dog owners in California: SB 1578, Chapter 8, Section 122335, part 6 of division 105 of the Health and Safety Code, relating to dogs: A person who chains, tethers, fastens, ties, or restrains a dog to a doghouse, tree, fence, or any other stationary object for longer than three hours in any 24-hour period has committed an infraction or misdemeanor. Choke collars and pinch collars are not allowed to be used while dogs are being restrained for any length of time. Animal control (municipal or county animal control agency or any other entity responsible for enforcing animal related laws) writes warning letters to offenders. An infraction under this chapter is punishable upon conviction by a fine of up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250) as to each dog with respect to which a violation occurs. A misdemeanor under this chapter is punishable upon conviction by a fine of up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) as to each dog with respect to which a violation occurs, or imprisonment in a county jail for up to six months, or both (fine and imprisonment).

Captain Paul Watson, founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, has used his body as a living shield to protect the baby harp seals from hunters. He has hugged the baby seals and remained covering their whole bodies with his body. This is true love and extremely courageous. High Intensity Active Sonar
In 2003 I heard about high intensity active sonar. I began my own campaign and collected over 2000 signatures so far, which I had sent to many different organizations and legislators. High intensity active sonar is a loud speaker device installed into the ocean, which sends out a volume of 240 decibels causing whales to bleed to death internally.
