This video is basically showing off the quietness of the GoodWood mods, I know this is one of the easiest songs ever.
Still, I could have done something like Silver or I'm In Touch With Your World, hahaha
(my gamertag = sskitzzo)
The drumset i'm using is a "GoodWoods" set, a sturdy, quiet, responsive set with great rebound: you can get it at http://www.goodwoodmods.com/products.html
And yes, I play drums in real life, been playing them on and off for 4+ years.

The New Razor Aragon 2 SL has just dropped, we get our hands on one of the first pairs to show you what they are all about! Revival co-host Al Dolega explores the new Razors skate - the first model in the new "SL" boot mold. Thanks to Alex Beaupre for the great filming and editing - Al breaks the skate down and covers the innovative new design piece by piece, and then Razors pro Don Bambrick shows us how to put them to good use. If you enjoyed the edit be sure to let us know and keep an eye out for many more videos and audio podcasts to come.

This video is on my break in method. I use half of the new school break in method and half of the traxxas. My method goes like this:
tank 1: 1/4 throttle, leaned to 200 degrees, no full brakes and really no time limits on the throttle ever to keep it moving like the new school method.
Tank 2 and 3 are half throttle tanks. Same as above. You can tune the engine a little more if you would like. Dont fully tune though as you want to keep it a little bit rich.
Tanks 4 and 5 are full throttle. Again with the above, tune a little more if you want. I have mine so that it is in ball part by the time that the last tank is done. Keep the truck moving like the new school method.
This vid is on the new school break in method. The nice part about this method is that heat is good and it is the focus of the break in. Once you achieve a constant 200 degrees F then you finish that tank and move on to the next method. For the first cycle you run for 3 minutes and then check the engine temp. If you are at 200 degrees then move on. If not, lean it to gain more heat or richen it to lessen heat. Cool the engine at bottom dead center BDC and then start the engine back up. Run the engine for another 3 minutes and then see where the temp is.
You will repeat this till you are constantly at 200 degrees.
When you are then you will do 4 minutes till with half throttle variances. If you are maintaining 200 degrees then move on. If not, then richen or lean as you need to.
On the last leg, you will run for 5 minute intervals at full throttle. Maintaining 200 degrees will allow you to graduate to a broken in engine. This video is on how to select fuel and glow plugs prior to break in. Information that this contains his how to troubleshoot and break in the kit based off of the glow plug, how much oil is good in fuel, and what nitro percent is good for the fuel.
This is a ten video rc nitro break in series. The series is designed on how to guide the novice to experienced racing pro or basher on how to break in a nitro rc properly. I will teach the traxxas, new school, and my own method which is a combination of the other two. I will show the user how to prime a nitro rc engine, start the engine using a bump start box, ex starter, roto start, pull start and tiger drive devices. Then, after break in, I will go over nitro engine tuning theory and then show the tuning actally done. EDIT: If you look in the window, it is NOT a person: I have no idea how any of you could possibly see the plant right outside my window, in my backyard, which is closed off by a fence, as a person. I mean, don't you think i'd notice them in the window? :P
The reason it's blowing around is because of the wind.
Also, people have been accusing me of speeding this up. Think about how hard it would be to play a song slower than usual, and then speed it up, and have everything match up with the song: not to mention, the pitch of everything would be much higher in real life had i sped it up, not to mention obvious things such as my movements, etc. This video is not sped up, and it's kind of silly to think that I would actually resort to something like that in any of my videos.
=========================
So, here it is. An actual Rock Band song, translated to drums, so to speak. The beginning is off time for some reason, but it syncs up soon thereafter.
I screw up a few times, due to lack of practicing it on real drums: parts like where the red notes suddenly go from the hi-hat to the toms are a bit hard to time. Also, i took liberties on some parts of the song: I don't have two crash cymbals, so I had to hit the same one for when the blue and green are supposed to be seperate crashes, as well as hitting the snare during the 4x red, 4x yellow, 4x blue etc. rolls instead of a fourth tom which isn't on my set.
The way I set this up was to let the song play out on practice mode, not hitting anything, and muting the drums in the options. (That's why the notechart shows me missing all the notes.) Then, i just spliced the audio together.
I notice it's kind of hard to hear the bass pedal: however if you look at my leg, and the reflection of my foot on the floor tom, you can clearly see it going to the beat and hitting the pedal when it's supposed to; even if you can't hear it.
Yes, the cymbals need to be loosened, however, the set was used when we bought it: the previous owners did not take care of it, and thus if you loosen it, sometimes the entire cymbal pops off. this is also why the drumset sounds like crap. The china cymbal was broken because of a neighbor abusing the set. The hi-hat pedal is also broken, which is why I can't lift it up to do the final hit on the patterns in the intro to the song.
