Written during the Ok Computer tour, "How To Disappear Completely" was released on October 2000 in the album KID A.

Philip James Selway aka PHIL SELWAY is the drummer of alternative rock band Radiohead. His ultra-precise timing and varied drumming helps to give the band its distinct sound.
Phil has a wife, Cait, and three sons: Leo, Jamie, and Patrick (to whom Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief were dedicated, respectively).
His mother Thea died during a Radiohead tour in middle May 2006. The band cancelled one of their dates in Amsterdam, so that Phil could carry out his family duties:
"Just wanted to say sorry to the people who were due to come to our show in Amsterdam last night, particularly those who made wasted journeys. My mum died suddenly in the early hours of yesterday morning and so I just wanted to be at home with my family. Mum was a big Radiohead fan, and was very proud of all we've done as a band. I love and miss her very much."

At Peterhouse, Greenwood served as the college's entertainment officer, and helped arrange several gigs for "On A Friday".
Later, whilst working at the music chain store, Our Price, he had a huge hand in helping the band get off the ground.
When Keith Wozencroft, as a sales rep for EMI, entered the store one day, Greenwood said, "You should sign my band," and handed him their demo tape, which included 'Stop Whispering'.
Keith Wozencroft, who had just become A&R for Parlophone (a subsidiary of EMI), did his best to convince his seniors of the potential he saw in the band.
That got it all started for the band, with EMI.[5] At this time the band renamed themselves Radiohead in 1992.
AIRBAG is Colin Greenwood's own favourite of all his bass lines.
