After 22 years in the making the Declaration of Rights for the indigenous peoples passed by United Nations General Assembly. How ever USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand all voted against the Declaration. The first important article in the Declaration that I see applicable to the issues being raised in the public by human rights activist about the thief of children by missionary groups such as the EDEN HOUSE video on the You tube can be found in article 7.
Article 7. 1. Indigenous individuals have the right to life, physical and mental integrity, liberty and security of person. 2. Indigenous have the collective right to live in freedom, peace and security as distinct peoples and shall not be subjected to any act of Genocide or any other act of violence, including forcibly removing children of the group to another group. |

These are Facts about Dr. Lewis, University of Oregon. I don't want to destroy his reputation I'm just helping him get his information out there to others. Paul W Lewis and his supreme Ethics make his reputation.
Example 1. In 1991 Brian Barney, the administrator for DAPA in Chiangrai, stated that Yot Kukaewkasem, the vice administrator and student of Paul W. Lewis, was sexually abusing underage girls at the Dapa hostels. The real questions I would like to know are why Yot Kukaewkasem continues to remain at work at DAPA? and why the missions that support DAPA do not investigate issues of sexual abuse related to their chosen administrator? |

Example 2. There are three pro's to five cons in Paul W Lewis Dissertation titled "Introduction of a family planning program to akhas in Thailand" Lewis say's, "By far the most practical thing for akhas is the interval sterilization via tubal ligation, which our program has been offering akha women since march 1974.
* Advantages 1. It is free- 2. It is effective- Of the 1,351 women we have sterilized so far one Lahu women had another pregnancy 3. It is safe- * The disadvantages 1. It is irreversible 2. Complications can take place 3. It cannot be done in the village 4. Akha women do not like to have an abdominal scar 5. There is a danger that funding organizations will push projects harder to get the largest numbers of sterilizations possible- whether the people really make the choice freely or not. This can have a backlash effect on the program, as is reported to have happened in India Lewis -- Introduction to Family planning- PG. 147-149 |

Why are you ruin Dr. Lewis reputation...
Look, Dr. Paul Lewis is a devout Christian man. He has morals and values and he wouldn't do something unethical without knowing. I met him couple years ago in our church here in the states. I myself comes from an indigenous background and with Dr. Lewis's help, we have our own written language... |
