Your one and only video says it all about our fascist country and its big police dogs and consenting good little citizens. Dissent is an American trademark and these people who squash it are ANTI-AMERICAN NAZI WAR PIGS.

free speech was not the issue in Mr. Meyer's arrest.

1. Mr. Meyer went up to the microphone being disruptive and no further questions were being allowed.

2. He acted defiantly, thinking he was gonna be arrested.

3. He was fighting with officers by saying "get away from me" and used his arms to resist the officers.

4. When at the end of the aisle, he continued to fight with officers.

5. When tackled to the ground, he fought with officers while trying to get handcuffed.

6. After officers told him several times to stop resisting, he was Tasered.

7. The Taser was appropriate. PERIOD. Those Gators against his Tasering were stupid.

Why did they arrest him? it seems to have happened as soon as he mentioned the skull and bones society at yale - was it that police saw him as confrontational and more in the process of making a statement over the asking of a question? They should have let him finish his comments and Kerry could have ignored it and moved on - instead it got ugly - the kid should have not mentioned yale...

NO THE POLICE DID NOT ACT WITHIN THEIR RIGHTS. it was a clear view of Police brutality, and a violation of FREEDOM OF SPEECH. which a couple of you are so arrogantly overlooking. Do a little more research before you ignorantly overlook the fact that his right to free speech was taken away, in front of a senator that SUPPOSEDLY was an anti-war protester and he watches this travesty to 1st amendment's rights occur right in front of his face and does nothing.

so keep shooting your mouth off, because all your doing is making you lemmings follow one another, right off the cliff.

I think by watching the crowd's reactions we can see exactly what was happening here. As soon as this guy's sarcasm started coming across you can see the audience reacting NEGATIVELY with people starting to LEAVE. He was already a lost cause but he continued to push the situation for even more attention. Clearly he has a lack of RESPECT for CIVILITY of a public forum with a SENATOR. Its not that I like Kerry particularly but I think I'd have the respect for DEMOCRACY and not impede on everyone else's rights by DISTURBING THE PEACE.

Good luck in court kid, next time put your arms behind your back.

Could you delete that retarded comment underneath? Thank God these idiots are a shrinking minority. And thank YOU for that upload.

The police acted perfectly in their limits. If the student was not going to behave by proper rules of debate then he should have been removed from the fourm. Then by wildly swinging his arms about he resisted arrest. The police officers acted well within their rights, ranks, and jobs. When he contiuned to resist, the police officers were forced to taser him. Bravo!!! to the police officers for acting quickly to bring his threat to a minium.
