I for one want to hear your take on The Dark Knight ... It's not unlike they took the thought balloon exclamations (Pow! and Biff!) from the 60s television show and replaced them with steroid enhanced punching bag sounds.

Mr Semple's script for King Kong 76 was better than both the original and the 2005 one. It had wit, and corrected the racism and exploitation of the 3rd world assumptions of the story with the focus on the moneygrubbing oil men. I liked how the anthropologist is always arguing the case for leaving the natives alone or they'll end up alcoholic burnouts once their god is taken from them. ppl always say it is 'camp' and dated but ignore that it is the only Kong movie slightly in touch with real world issues.
