I created this playlist to share videos I have viewed of dog rescue and especially the plight of galgos (Spanish greyhounds) - it is vital the public is educated regarding the heinous cruelty inflicted on stray dogs world wide, millions of dogs are discarded like rubbish every year, they are starved, beaten, poisoned and left to die in the most miserable circumstances. The phrase 'you wouldn't treat a dog like that' is ironic to the max because dogs ARE often treated terribly by human beings. I want to use my youtube site to raise awareness of the suffering of our beautiful and loyal friends. I'm a dog lover and it hurts me to know companion animals are treated so badly, I cannot understand the mindset of anyone who could be cruel to a living creature. It is unthinkable that the fur of dogs & cats is being used to make clothing. Please say no to the fur trade, don't buy into the suffering of animals. Please support rescue organisations and get involved with saving the voiceless. We all need to pull together if we are to make a difference and every compassionate voice and good deed counts!
