In my opinion, it is completely irrelevant whether one has children or not, regarding opinions on pedophilia. Any 'normal' decent thinking person is repulsed by and knows pedophilia is the worst of crimes. Parents do not have the market cornered on concern for children and I become rather annoyed when they believe they do. I don't know whether you have children or not and frankly it's none of my business. I do know that you are a thoroughly good, caring and socially aware human being and I honour your considerable efforts in creating intelligent and informative videos for youtube and your justice and compassion towards others.

Concerning the pedophile...You make some very intelligent points on society at large. In a perfect world I would say you are 100% correct. Be unfortunately this is not a perfect world. Believing a pedophile can be cured of his preference is as naive as the old belief a homosexual could be "cured" of his. I could be wrong, but I am guessing you do not have children. I do, and my opinion may be considered tainted because of it. The only real solution is sending these men to a penal colony, where they can never come in contact with children again.
