Simplesong, our lifestyle is based on Acts 2: 42 and 1 Cor 7: 32-34. The mode of dress is also part of the "communal life," since we do not distinguish ourselves individually by our personal clothing styles. The veil, of course, was the norm in the ancient world, and since St. Paul specifically refers to it in 1 Cor 11: 5-16, we have maintained this custom as well. It is simply a "sign" of belonging to the Lord in an exclusive way for his service.
