yeah true. sinhalese come from North India. there is no doubt. but we havent banned any language. go to wikipedia and type sri lanka in the languages section it says 'sinhala' and 'tamil' both are official languages. theres no better example for that. we didnt kill any tamil its LTTE who banished thousands of non-tamils from northern sri lanka and killing busloads of innocent civillians. now what we r having is a counter terrorism. do u know 'Operation Anaconda'? its agaisnt talebans not afgans so this humanitarian operation is against LTTE not tamils. dont mix them up. and... dont swallow LTTE propaganda. they can say anything to justify their terrorism. if u wanna see whats happening come to SL and go to IDP centres in the north. talk to the tamils and u ll see how much harressment and torture they ve been through.

The Singhale people are Aryans from Bengal, North India. Otherwise, why do they speak and support a Indo-Aryan language? Why do they ban all languages that are non-Aryan, like Tamil. Why did they kill and expel millions of people they considered non-Aryan, like Tamil people, from their Sri Lankan Homeland into TamilNadu?
