actually your wrong as well, it was original an irish song written just under 300 years ago in the 18th century, search whiskey in the jar on wikipedia, or look it up somewhere else. Thin Lizzy, whos lead singer is, half irish covered the song, then Metallica covered Thin Lizzy. Metallica originally gave credit for Thin Lizzy for covering the song so well, before they covered it themselves.
