A channel celebrating the early Hollywood musicals. My goal is to educate, entertain and spread some light on a sadly forgotten era of entertainment. From the reactions I get I can tell I'm not the only one loving these movies. It's so sad so few of them are preserved for us to enjoy. About 75% of all the movies from the years 1925-35 are lost forever.The early musicals made in color before 1934 have an even greater loss-percentage. Some actors and actresses work has almost been totally erased due to this. Another cause pushing these movies towards total oblivion is the studios reluctance to release what they have left on DVD.
