It is amazing how confused so many people are about the Word of God. The Douay Rheims did not come from the King James Bible. All one need do is make a simple comparison of the texts. They are different. The DR comes from the Latin Vulgate, a Jesuit version.

The King James Version comes from the Received Text and is faithful to the original New Testament Manuscripts in use by the true Church of the Lord Jesus Christ....and faithfully preserved by God according to His Divine Promise to do so. There are no missing Old Testament Books in the KJV, nor are there any additions to the canon. What a weird combination of errors. I can't place it. It isn't Catholic programming, as I have heard it to tend to be. Any ideas?

Anyway, glad to see some folks holding to the right Bible, God's faithful Word. Most don't have a clue even where they can find such a thing today. The Lord bless His saints. Amen.

The Douay Rheims bible came before the KJV.
The KJV is a revision of the Geneva Bible. James didn't like the notes of the Geneva, he felt it question his "divine rights." Protestants "removed" books from the The KJV old testament.
