I prefer vinyl/analog as opposed to digital as far as music goes. This site is pretty much for the people who appreciate listening to music from vinyl. Some don't see the point in videos of a record playing, so these videos are for those who do.
Not sure how long this account will fly, but I have fun playing the records so I will go with the flow.
Gordon Derencin and Strongsong have supplied many of these vinyl recordings.
Tokensurfer has also furnished a ton of material for this channel.
I set up another account (spoonfedagain4now) awhile back in case this one disappears. That one has the 45 rpm stated in the entries the same as this one does on the vinyl 45 entries.
I have had a few (not many) complaints of having to watch the record spin while
listening to the songs. I tend to use multiple tabs to surf in other windows if I feel the need to be entertained while listening to the music.
A lot of this vinyl has some age and has its share of pops and hisses. If you are looking for clean, clear, crisp digital sounds, this is probably not the channel for you. I have a tin ear, so let me know if there is a problem video and I will take care of it one way or another.
I would hope hearing the music on here would remind someone of a past song and encourage them to buy the cd / record /song if the music is good enough.
If anyone is aware of a list of what is/isn't copyright approved on music over 35 years old, please let me know. If anyone is interested in compiling a list of copyright holders who have complained, let me know and hopefully it will help many of us avoid posting their music.
I am sure there are others, but the artists I know to avoid on account of copyright complaints are Elvis, Badfinger, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Them (Van Morrison group), and Sam Cooke.
I appreciate most of the comments and try to answer the ones I feel need answering, but I fall behind and may not answer, but thank you for commenting.
Thanks again for watching and subscribing.
