West Midlands Police and the Crown Prosecution Service have apologised unreservedly for accusing the makers of a Channel 4 documentary of distortion. The apology and the promise of £100,000 were made at the High Court on Thursday. It follows comments made about a Dispatches programme, Undercover Mosque, which tackled the problem of Islamic extremism in the West Midlands. The police statement said the force was wrong to have made the allegations.

West Midlands Police and CPS will apologise unreservedly for comments that they accept were incorrect and unjustified. They said that there was "no evidence that the broadcaster or programme-makers had misled the audience or that the programme was likely to encourage or incite criminal activity".

What a shocking documentary. You actually have people talking about making us submit to their religious will. The UK really needs to look at its immigration policy. If people want to come to the west to be part of the good we have created and to contribute to our values of freedom, the great. But when you have a man speaking about "arresting" those who don't prey or whom arent wearing hijab, and killing repeat offenders, there is a disconect.

When you have people contemplating a "takeover" and a "state within a state", they need to be sent back to their own state.

muslims on average stay in education longer than whites, but are twice as likely to be unemployed. Why is this? is it because their parents can still claim welfare for them? yes that is why, they are happy to be british then! most of these extremist have been raised and educated on welfare paid by the average white man, THEY ARE HAPPY TO BE BRITISH WHEN GETTING HAND OUTS!!!
