Westis is a Finnish electronic music producer whose sound moves between melancholy, retro-futuristic aesthetics and the dark warmth of 80s-inspired synthesizers. His music is both minimalistic and emotionally rich—airy yet full of refined details that create a deep, nostalgic atmosphere.

Driven by a strong visual imagination, Westis creates songs that feel like cinematic scenes—nightscapes, coastal fog, distant neon lights. His style is instantly recognizable: modern synthesis with a nostalgic soul.

Westis’ musical journey began in 1997, composing tracker music in the European demoscene, where he learned to craft soundscapes, and rhythmic structures with limited tools.

Today, Westis blends electronic production with organic elements. He frequently plays bass guitar on his tracks, adding an earthy, human presence beneath the synthesizers. In recent years he has also begun to incorporate his own vocals more prominently, giving his music a more personal and intimate dimension.
