Finally please go read the statements of professional CD engineers, all of them agree that WTC 1,2 and 7 are NOT CD (except for idiotic similarity, they both involve buildings falling).

And again, not a single detonator was found, not a single explosive was seen being planted in advance. if someone can find the passport, why cant' they find a single of the thousands of smoking-gun detonators or blasting caps?

I'm all for investigating, but I am NOT for jumping to half baked conclusions with pre-concieved conclusions that Big Brother and/or the Illuminati are out to get us.

3) Controlled Demolition: another joke. Please review what CD actually is: a number of explosives are set on key structural members low in the building. These are detonated and THEN the building collapses. The key point is FIRST explosions, THEN the building falls. this invalidates any notion that the 'squibs' scene on various tapes of WTC1,2,7 are CD causing the building to collapse. those are ONLY visible AFTER collapse starts.

watch a video of a real CD. you'll see a VERY VERY clear pattern: visible and audible flashes in quick succession at numerous points within the building and then it starts falling. The explosions are usually extremely clearly audible for blocks around (watch ANY video of CD and you'll hear the explosions BEFORE the collapse no matter how far away it is taped from).

2) the 'resistance of 46 floors': what floor did the collapse initiate at? Your '46 floor resistance' statement implies that the top floor collapses onto the 2nd highest, then the next, so on and so on...

But in fact the collapse is much more complex than that, the building is not a monolith made of slabs that fall like dominos. Even JUST looking at the external portion, it appears that the collapse initiates at a lower floor. Meaning by YOUR analysis, its not one floor vs 46, its more like the top 40 against the bottom 7. Do a calculation of the mass difference and the potential energy contained in a falling 40 story chunk of building and i'm sure you'll see that the bottom 7 floors' don't present much of an impedance.

I think this is why you'll find few engineers (good ones), particularly ones who know anything about structural mechanics arguing on behalf of 'conspiracy theorists' about WTC collapses.

it seems like your knowledge of physics is somewhat limited.... i don't know which program you got your ME degree in, but perhaps its been a while since you looked at a physics problem:

1) Fall time: How long did it really take to collapse? The figure 6.5 seconds is given, is that really the time it took for the building to completely collapse or just for a majority of the building to fall behind other buildings and a shroud of dust?

What if it is slightly longer? What speed do YOUR calculations tell you it should have fallen at?

When did 'collapse' begin? When the entire building started to go or much earlier?

From some videos the collapse of the penthouse area can clearly be seen several seconds before the collapse of the main portion of building. Its clear from these videos that structures inside were collapsing within the building for several seconds before it is visible externally. (there's a good video by JohnP6617 called 'WTC 7 collapse', search for it)

here's what I wrote...

There are no holes in the fact that a 47 story building fell in 6.5 seconds. As a degreed Mechanical engineer with 10 years experience, I do understand Physics. And you know what the acceleration of gravity is constant at 9.8 meters per second every second. That quite simply, means that in order for that 47th floor to the hit the ground in that time, it is falling at free fall speed. How could it possibly do this, it has to overcome the energy of impacting 46 additional floors? The answer is quite simply controlled demolition. That unless on 9/11 physics was nullified than this is alone enough evidence to explain that this could have only been accomplished by insiders. I need debate nothing else but this, although there are a 100 other irrefutable facts that present themselves quit blatantly. There are also plenty of things that none of us know yet, that's why we need a new, genuine investigation.
