Werkskapelle Knauf Ceiling Solutions Ferndorf

The Werkskapelle Ferndorf was founded in 1931. Gernot Steinthaler has been the conductor since 2001. The chairman of the association is Rafael Petras.
The main focus of the association is on youth training and the promotion of wind music in Carinthia and far beyond. Participation in international competitions in Sardinia and France is evidence of this. The Werkskapelle Ferndorf won a gold medal at the World Music Contest in Kerkrade / Netherlands in 2013 and 2017.

Die Werkskapelle Ferndorf wurde 1931 in Ferndorf, Kärnten, Österreich gegründet.
Seit 2001 ist Gernot Steinthaler der musikalische Leiter. Obmann des Vereins ist Rafael Petras.
Der Verein konzentriert sich vor allem auf die Jugendarbeit und die Förderung der Blasmusik in Kärnten und weit darüber hinaus. Die Teilnahme an internationalen Wettbewerben in Sardinien und Frankreich belegt dies. Die Werkskapelle Ferndorf gewann 2013 und 2017 eine Goldmedaille beim World Music Contest in Kerkrade (Niederlande).
