96.6 FM The Dead Zone

In the town of Overtake, reality is a suggestion, not a rule. Built on a tectonic plate of pure anomaly, the city is subject to "The Folding"—spontaneous shifts where architecture collapses like origami and geography re-indexes itself without warning. One day the post office is Victorian brick; the next, it’s a glass prism reflecting a sky from 1954. Between these rendered blocks lie the "Blank Spots," featureless white voids where physics and memory simply run out.

Amidst this chaos, 96.6 FM The Dead Zone serves as the town’s only constant. Broadcasting from a basement studio in the Grange Hall, the show acts as a reality anchor. Hosted by the stoic Marcus and the tech-strained Shane, the station provides a frequency for citizens to tune their own atoms to, ensuring they don't drift away when the map stretches. They are the voice in the dark, reminding Overtake that as long as the radio is humming, the town is still—technically—there.
