Welcome to Adoptees of East Texas! 
We are a community that supports and connects adoptees locally together with others who truly  understand the complex journey that is, being adopted. 

AOET was founded in Tyler, Texas in 2022 by adoptees for adoptees. Jennifer Showers, a domestic adoptee, and Katya Reach an international adoptee, identified the need for support in local communities for adoptees as adults regardless of their age. The complexity that is adoption is a lifelong journey.
