Azabache Montoya

Azabache Montoya originated as a fictional character in the graphic novel Le Chant de la Femme Cryptée and is part of the artistic project through which its author, Jimi Macías, expands that universe into music, music videos and audiovisual creation.

Half singer, half apparition, her sound blends Spanish copla, glitch pop, art pop, dark Latin electronic music and cinematic club music, bringing together dramatic vocals, noir atmospheres, futuristic production and the emotional intensity of Spanish musical tradition.

Between darkness and desire, ritual and rhythm, Azabache Montoya creates sensual, unsettling songs where fiction, music and visual storytelling dissolve into a single immersive world.
