Original Band Ochentay Ocho 88 INC.

Of more than a hundred years of its existence, Banda 88 Of Santa Maria, Bulacan has proved to be the pioneer band in the town of Santa Maria, province of Bulacan. Established in 1888 by the Governor then of Bulacan during the Spanish regime, Governor Antonio Rodriguez. Due to oral traditions in the town, it is well known for musicians who are closely related to each other: from great grandfathers to their great, great grandchildren. Numerous band engagements and commitments were give to the band in the entire span of their existence. Banda 88's golden era is considered the latter part of the 21st century . It is the most medaled band in the province and receiver of numerous citations and awards in local and national brass band competitions. Banda 88 also competed in other band competitions of other provinces namely Bataan, Batangas, Cavite, Rizal, and Pampanga.  The band was truly proven to be the best among the rest.
