BackWater Testimony Music

Subscribe to BackWater Testimony Music for new songs and albums from the bayou.

BackWater Testimony Music is confession set to a banjo.

Dark country, outlaw gospel and southern gothic testimony, built around claw-hammer banjo, tribal drums, and a voice that's more confession than performance.

Follow an old banjo player in a cabin deep in the Atchafalaya Basin, with his dog Mousie. The road cost him his marriage, and the bayou took him in.

Every song is original, written from real places: self-deception, forgiveness, grief, faith, anger at your own mistakes, and gratitude for the people and the presence that carried you through.

If you've ever needed a song to say the thing you didn't have words for, this channel is for you.

The stories and lyrics are mine. The music and vocals are created with AI tools, using my own voice profile.

Out now: The Mirror. Dark Country. Outlaw Gospel. Southern Gothic.
