The Blue Tram is still a household name in the municipality of Voorschoten. It refers to the blue trams that served on the tramline Leiden - The Hague from the year 1924 to 1961. For many Voorschoten residents who worked in Leiden or The Hague at that time, the Blue Tram was a popular means of transport.
