Bristow Sports Cars

Thanks for looking! This is the home of the 1955 Leonard MG Special, commissioned by Lionel Leonard in 1955 and raced by Chris Bristow in 1956. Winning on his debut race, Bristow campaigned the car for the 1956 season winning more races before selling the car in December 1956. The car was purchased for road use and kept in the same family and was last on the road in 1967 so the car has not been seen in public for nearly 60 years! The car was hidden in a garden behind a prison in Somerset England so this really is THE prison break out barn find story!
We will be releasing further films detailing the history of the car, the design of the car, racing specifications, the paint colours and so much more. Follow our insta and web too!
Please stay tuned and subscribe and we will bring you more episodes of this exciting restoration story of a very special barn find as soon as we have them! Feel free to contact us with any questions and we will try to answer them. Thanks for watching!
