Choodasandra RWA

CRWA was founded to give the Choodasandra community a unified, democratic, and accountable institutional voice — one capable of engaging with civic authorities such as BESCOM, BWSSB, and the Gram Panchayat, coordinating community welfare activities, and safeguarding the area's most significant natural asset, the Choodasandra Lake, spread across Survey No. 43 and 45 of Choodasandra village.

Since its inception, the Association's flagship initiative has been the rejuvenation of Choodasandra Lake, as part of its water-conservation commitments. This effort has already restored significant water storage capacity to the lake and has begun attracting diverse bird and wildlife species, marking a visible ecological revival in the locality. Another important initiative of CRWA is bringing all the residents together for sports and cultural programmes.
