Elimisha Binti Initiative Inc.

Elimisha Binti Initiative, translated as “Educate the Girl Child Initiative,” is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the educational needs of bright but economically disadvantaged girls who are deaf or hard of hearing in Western Kenya, Africa.

The initiative works to ensure these girls remain in school and thrive academically by providing scholarships, mentorship, assistive technology such as hearing aids, and essential personal hygiene supplies. Through these supports, we aim to remove barriers that often prevent girls with hearing disabilities from accessing and completing their education.

We envision a future where girls who are deaf or hard of hearing can realize their full potential, build sustainable livelihoods through formal employment or entrepreneurship, and confidently exercise their human and civil rights through self-advocacy and community engagement.
