Julie Ostmeyer | Farm Girl Fixin's

Welcome to Farm Girl Fixin’s! I’m Julie, and around here, we’re growing good things, stocking the pantry, and usually finding another homemade project to try.

You’ll find practical homesteading ideas, gardening tips, homemade pantry staples, and ways to preserve what you grow. From homemade vanilla extract and flavored sugars to freeze-dried fruit and candy, we make room for everyday essentials AND the fun stuff your family will probably fight over.

Expect simple recipes, freeze drying tips, small batch projects, and a little trial and error. Because sometimes “I wonder if this would work” turns into a whole afternoon.

Subscribe for gardening, freeze drying, and farm girl life, with homemade goodness along the way!
