Hillcrest Halt Model Railways

Welcome to Hillcrest Halt Model Railways .
On this channel I take you along with me as I visit numerous model railway shops, from cozy family run stores, to bustling emporiums. I also visit exhibitions where train layouts come to life, like at the Great Electric Train Show, to the bustling atmosphere of the National Railway Museum in York.

I also take a look at Heritage Railways showcasing the history of railways. From Vintage Steam Locomotives, Diesel Locomotives and Railway Architecture. I use my visits to gain inspiration and ideas for my model railway layouts.

I’m currently focused on building O gauge layouts, sharing track planning , scenic work, scratch building and layout progress. I still enjoy working in N gauge and 00 gauge too, so you’ll see the occasional video in those scales.

If you love anything train related, this is the channel for you.
