Housatonic Music

Housatonic production crew, rooted deep in Sheffield’s underground scene, molding electro influenced Tech House and and Nu Disco Beats.
Respectively acknowledging influences in all genres of music. Imagine a jigsaw of experience sub merging into tech house. Sticky, honey coated disco melodics, and the corrosive bleep of Acid House. Made for the club, and the free parties of now.

Housatonic are focused on their Alpha beats Project; with 23 tracks released leaving three more epics to complete the Housatonic A-Z.

Group members have influenced been sampled by The Prodigy and many other and honourable mentions by the likes of Derrick May and Todd Terry.

Housatonic members have been pivotal to the Fon/Warp Records movement and influential in the mouldings of Cooltempo and Profile thus cemented into Sheffield's original ravers and now futureretro electronic sound.

Coded in Atari, rewired and rerouted, honest, authentic. Feelings to hear, a sonic story told, all very unfiltered.

Enjoy.
