NIGHTINGALE FAMILY
Nightingale Family is a Bahá’í-inspired musical ensemble that brings together Congolese and Haitian traditions to share uplifting messages of faith, unity, healing, peace, and hope.
Jean Claude Senior (JC), a professional singer and former member of Mona-Nur de Pointe-Noire, has represented the Bahá’í Faith through music at numerous religious gatherings across Africa, England, and France. He has also performed in Israel alongside Bahá’í singers from around the world. Esther enriches the ensemble with her Haitian heritage and songwriting talents. Their daughter, Prefina, is a gifted young vocalist and performer at the Youth Performing Arts School (YPAS) in Louisville, Kentucky. JC Junior is an accomplished clarinetist, former marching-band performer, and recent high-school graduate. Kael completes the family ensemble by expressing his creativity, energy, and joy through music and dance.
