Jujitsu originated from a traditional martial art practiced by Japanese nobles and warriors. Its main technique is based on the principle of "using gentle techniques to overcome the strong." The central spirit of jujitsu is to transform the attacking force of an opponent into a technique to subdue them. Different schools of jujitsu emphasize various techniques, including strikes, throws, joint locks, neck locks, ground fighting, and pressure point attacks.
