Melodus Rising

Melodus Rising is where I pour all the messy, beautiful parts of being human — the grief, the healing, the memories that won’t let go — into indie‑folk songs with a pagan/goth twist at times. 🌲🕯️

It started as a quiet little healing project, and grew into a space where I write from the deepest parts of myself — the shadows, the scars, and the pieces I finally learned to embrace.

The name Melodus comes from an ancient word meaning lyric poet, which fits me perfectly — I’ve been writing since my teenage years as an author, blogger, and storyteller. Music became the natural evolution of that path, a place where raw emotion, lived experience, trauma, resilience, and self‑embrace could finally take shape as lyrics.

If you feel everything a bit too deeply, or you’ve walked through your own inner forest more times than you can count, these songs are for you 🌑
