I'm Michelle Visser, creator of Fresh Flour University, Dehydrating Academy & Kombucha Academy, host of the Simple Doesn't Mean Easy podcast, & author of Sweet Maple. 

When we moved from the heart of suburbia to a 200-year-old farmhouse in a rural corner of New England, I realized that living a little more simply can be done in small steps, no matter where you live or what your story is. 

After lots of mistakes -- with maple syrup making, real food cooking, and homesteading -- I realized that most of the things I was learning were things any one can do, with some insights & encouragement. .. that's where this channel comes in.
