Who Dat You Say? No Way!

NEVE (they, he, and she in a gay way) is a multidisciplinary Terpsichorean (of dance and lyric poetry) artist. They are a punk, a Black "Indigenous creature" (Mahas Nubian, Chickasaw), and a disability justice activist (mentored and trained by the late, great, Patty Berne of Sins Invalid).

In 2024, NEVE studied The Actor’s Instinct with George Gallagher (Perimeter, 1923). A recent resident at Movement Research and a Pina Bausch Fellow, NEVE creates and performs experimental musical theatre and dance internationally. They last appeared onstage, starring in Centenary Stage Co.’s staged reading of Harriet Heydemann’s new, award-winning play, Lessons From a Jellyfish.

NEVE lives in Jerzylvania with her mama, grandma, and cats. When not birding, imbibing true crime, studying music theory, learning German, or making their friends go to karaoke, they are working on a screenplay, a book of poetry, and an X-Files podcast.
