NORD music project

High-Grit Cinematic Folk from the edge of the world.

Recorded in solitary isolation, NORD is a journey into the cold Northern Oceans and the grit of the earth. The project began when Paolo was approached to transform his poetry into lyrics. After an exhaustive search for a vocalist to capture the project's weight, Paolo stepped behind the microphone. The result was a revelation—a low-polish, high-intensity sound that now defines NORD.

Current Project: HMY IOLAIRE (1919)
Launching 15 May 2026. A haunting exploration of the 200 sailors lost 20 yards from shore. Produced with a 180Hz focus to capture the weight of the deep, bridging historical tragedy with modern survival.

NORD Stands For:

The Earth: No music on a dead earth.

The Soul: Safe harbour for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Innocent: Advocacy for animal protection.

The Mind: If the grit gets too much, you aren't alone.
