Neil Gilson

Welcome to the official YouTube channel of Neil Gilson – marathon swimmer, world record holder, fundraiser and adventurer from North Devon, England.

In 2024, I broke the 38-year-old Lake Geneva (Lac Léman) length record, swimming over 70 km from Villeneuve to Geneva in 22 hours, 9 minutes and 38 seconds.

That achievement inspired an even bigger challenge: becoming the first person to swim all ten of Switzerland's largest lakes. Over two years I completed more than 380 km of marathon swimming, setting records across every lake while raising awareness and funds for PANS/PANDAS UK.

Follow the journey through documentary-style films, stunning drone footage, training insights, and the highs and lows of ultra-endurance swimming. Thanks for watching—please subscribe and join me on the next adventure.
