Newton-Conover Community Band

The Newton-Conover Community Band mission is bringing together local musicians who play brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments to form musical ensembles, rehearse band/jazz music, and perform in public concerts.  Membership is not restricted by age, race, color, economic status, religion, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, political beliefs or affiliation.  The band is based in Newton, NC and has two seasons—Fall (Sept-Nov) and Spring (Jan-May). The band is open to anyone, from high school to seniors, that have experience on concert band/jazz band instruments.  There are no membership fees and no auditions.
