PancreasZen

I was hospitalized twice with severe acute necrotizing pancreatitis, in May 2023 and in November 2025. Nobody hands you a manual when they discharge you, so I wrote one.

PancreasZen is what I needed and could not find: 48 chapters on refeeding, enzymes, pain, alcohol, sleep and the fear that follows you home, 60 tested low fat recipes, and 9 printables you can take into an appointment. Written by a patient rather than a clinician, and checked against ESPEN and ACG guidance.

On this channel: what the first weeks after discharge actually look like, what I eat on a normal day, and the questions I wish I had asked sooner.

This is one patient's experience, not medical advice. If you are in pain now, go to hospital.
