The Distorted Trumpet Show

Welcome to The Distorted Trumpet Show, the only guitar pedal podcast to ask the question, do pedals sound better on a trumpet, or a guitar?! This is a weekly show looking at how different guitar pedals and multi effects units work for trumpet versus guitar!

Have you ever wondered how it would sound to put a trumpet through a fuzz pedal? How about a trumpet through a vocoder? What about playing a trumpet through a Marshall stack? Us too! Follow along as we try every pedal we can get our hands on to engineer the finest trumpet sound we can.

Trumpeter Phil Hanson and guitarist JJ, test out some of the worlds most famous guitar pedals and multi effects units to find out how they sound on the trumpet as compared to the guitar.

Learn how to get the best out of your trumpet signal chain, and to build your ultimate pedal board.
