Unshaken Perinatal & Trauma Therapy

I work with women navigating the full range of perinatal mental health, from fear around pregnancy and motherhood before conception, through pregnancy anxiety, postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and the rest of the PMADs that don't get talked about enough. Preventing and healing birth trauma is where I focus a lot of my energy, because intentional care changes the trajectory of a woman's life and her family's life.

I offer therapy fully virtual across Virginia.

Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor, I spent over 20 years in women's health as a NICU and Labor & Delivery nurse, then as a Certified Nurse Midwife, personally supporting more than 4,000 births. My work is trauma-informed & strengths-based, drawing from EMDR, somatic therapy, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches.

This channel is where I'll share coping skills, real information, some myth busting, and stories that might feel familiar. Still learning this as I go, so bear with me.
