Voice for Voiceless: Seal The Future

The commercial seal hunt is one of the cruelest practices still happening today. Every year, tens of thousands of baby seals, many just a few weeks old, are brutally killed for their fur.

Hunters often use clubs or rifles, striking the animals on the ice where they have no chance of escape. Pups especially are vulnerable, unable to dive or try to escape, making them easy (and primary) targets. 
Despite regulations, many animals are left suffering—wounded but not killed outright—before being skinned alive.

The icy hunting grounds, a place of flourishing life, become scenes of blood and suffering. The hunt is driven largely by profit & luxury markets, making the cruelty harder to justify. Seals are intelligent, sentient animals that feel pain and fear like we do.

With modern alternatives available and demand collapsing globally, this practice is not only outdated but also deeply inhumane, standing as a reminder of needless suffering in today's world.
