The Story Behind Wild☆Wayves

Wild☆Wayves is more than a name. It’s a part of who I am.

My nickname used to be Wild Thing. And truth be told… that wild side is still very much alive. 😉 That’s where Wild Way came from: my own, sometimes headstrong and wild way of living life.

Wayves has another meaning too. My last name is Van Es, which inspired the Van Es way: my way of turning stories, feelings and experiences into words and music.

My lyrics come from real life. Love, family, friendship, freedom, falling down and getting back up, having fun, and above all: living life your own way.

No single box, no single style. One song may touch your heart, another may make you laugh, dance or sing along.

That’s Wild☆Wayves. A little wild, a little headstrong, but always straight from the heart.
