The channel name, "XIMU," was inspired by the character Shmuel from the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" (+14). I started using this nickname in 2013 when I created an account on the game called CrossFire, which, incidentally, was the channel's initial focus.

I've been passionate about YouTube since 2012, but I started working here in January 2020. I began by doing live streams and only started posting videos more frequently from July 2022 onwards.

I reached the long-awaited milestone of 100,000 subscribers on November 10, 2025.
