Aambady dance academy

Aambady Dance Academy is a dedicated institution committed to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Indian classical dance. Founded by Smt. Radha Anilkumar (Valli) and supported by her daughters Meera Krishna and Lakshmi Krishna, the academy carries forward a strong artistic lineage with over 30 years of experience and service in the field of classical arts. With branches in Trivandrum, India, and Ajman, UAE, Aambady focuses on imparting Bharatanatyam from the basics, ensuring that students develop a strong foundation in technique, discipline, and expression. Rooted in tradition, the academy also reflects the parambaryam of Kathakali and Mohiniyattam, influenced by the founder’s background as a Kathakali artist. Over the years, Aambady has trained numerous students, many of whom have achieved prestigious recognitions such as Balasree, Kerala Kalathilakam, and other honours, while some have gone on to become film and television artists.
