Anikka Nyström

I compose at the intersection of Industrial, Industrial Metal, EBM, Aggrotech, and Hellektro, informed by Darkwave, Gothic Rock and Post-Punk, where atmosphere is constructed as a system with surgical precision.

The sonic structure is anchored in driving basslines, rigid sequencing, dense synth layers, distorted electronics, and riff-driven force. Rhythms alternate between hypnotic repetition and mechanical propulsion, balancing restraint and impact under rigorous control.

Lyrically, I approach desire, control, and erosion through an aseptic lens, marked by methodical cruelty, aestheticized violence, synthetic horror, technological dread, and artificial intimacy, where flesh and machine coexist in friction.

This is not revivalism. It is construction, deliberate, disciplined and executed as process.
