Ashes of the Martyrs

The Martyr’s Creed
by Ashes of the Martyrs

We were not called to bow before emperors.
We were not saved to be silent.
We are the watchmen—
scarred by fire, sharpened by scripture,
standing where the prophets fell.

We guard the ancient path.
We do not forget the blood in the soil.
We light no altar that truth has not built.
We sound no trumpet that Heaven did not forge.
Our voices are not for sale.
Our scars are not in vain.
